If yes, please provide details Works/Services to be Sub Contracted Name of Proposed Sub Contractors A B C D E 10.3 Minimum Equipment Requirements The tenderer should indicate if they have a preference for the infrastructure and relevant operating systems needed to host the EasyBiz Web Services Framework and any relevant components eg the tool to be used to allow council to "transform EasyBiz common data format into council specific data format (mapping)". The tendered should state what their minimum requirements are of any supporting infrastructure. 10.4 Installation of software with each council The tenderer is required to state the minimum operating and performance requirements eg web server requirements needed in order for council to install any component/application needed to perform tasks such as enabling council to perform their own transformation eg mapping the EasyBiz common data format into their own data format. The EasyBiz Extension Project expects the requirement to install software/components onto council's own IT environment to be minimised. It is the preference of the EasyBiz Extension Project that components of the EasyBiz Web Services Framework that have a user interface are accessible via a web browser. 10.5 Participation in the development or promulgation of data standards across Government or Industry Tenderers are requested to describe in less than 500 words any previous projects they have been involved in where they have develop or promulgated across Government (any level of Government) or Industry (any particular industry sector) a data communication standard that enabled many to many communication using non-proprietary data standards. The projects should have addressed the issue of removing/replacing various point to point systems. Tenderers should specifically state if they have had prior experience in implementing solutions that use one or more of the data exchange standards identified in the Australian Government Technical Interoperability Framework. 10.6 Methodology Tenderers are required to describe their methodology for undertaking the development of the EasyBiz Web Services Framework. The methodology should provide an overview of the organisation's design and development methodology for system integration but more specifically address how the organisation approaches the task of transforming data from a common format into a specific designated format. A maximum of two pages is allowed to describe the methodology. 10.7 Issues and Risks Tenderers are required to describe what they perceive to be the risks associated with the required tasks and what they would intend to do to minimise those risks. 10.8 Available Resources Tenderers should indicate the extent of Web Services development resources available to them (either as employees or sub-contractors). 10.9 Key Personnel Tenderers should describe the background, qualifications, experience, skills and expertise of key personnel who the organisation considers to be "leaders" within the field of system integration using web services. Whilst the tenderer may not be required to use these personnel, if a specific technical solution needs to be resolved quickly, EasyBiz may request the involvement of these key personnel to help architect the solution. Please limit responses to a maximum of two pages. 10.10 Appreciation of application of web services technology to business Tenderers are required to outline in a maximum of two pages how they believe web services technology will evolve over the next 5 years and what opportunities this will provide to Government to remove "red tape" for business in dealing with any level of Government (local, state and Federal). 10.11 Payment Schedule Tenderers are requested to state what their preferred payment structure is for the services to be performed. 10.12 Ongoing costs Tenderers are required to clearly describe and itemise the on-going costs associated with maintenance of the components/services that will comprise the EasyBiz Web Services Framework. These ongoing costs should include: a The cost of any upgrades to components provided by the tenderer; b The cost of additional transformations required by council eg the adding of new data elements into the EasyBiz common data format and then, if required, including those new elements into council specific data formats via the EasyBiz Web Services Hub; c The features and costs of the different service level agreements that the tenderer offers to clients; The costs should be provided for a two year basis.
