9.7 	System Constraints

The constraints that exist in regards to the development of the EasyBiz project are:
 
A	Each of the local council system use proprietary data formats and therefore 
	any data exchange between EasyBiz and council needs to be facilitated by a 
	data transformation process;

B	Each council uses different labels to describe the same type of data collected 
	in a form/permit application. 

	Therefore any data standardisation can only occur at a system level;

C	Limited communication between EasyBiz and council's back end system will reduce 
	the effectiveness of EasyBiz as it will not be able to perform the required 
	levels of validation needed for renewal type transactions to occur through EasyBiz;

D	Some of the EasyBiz permits will be in regards to new or future properties. 

	These properties don't exist in council systems. 

	A workflow/business process needs to be developed for EasyBiz in future stages 
	of EasyBiz to handle permit/licence and registration applications in respect to
	new or future properties;

E	Councils are not willing to maintain permit/licence and registration cost data 
	in two separate locations e.g. within EasyBiz and within their own council systems. 

	Any cost data used by EasyBiz will need to be extracted from council systems;
