1.6 	EasyBiz Management Authority

The Management Authority for the EasyBiz Project is the EasyBiz Project Direction and
Monitoring Group 
(refer to Appendix C - List of EasyBiz Project Direction and Monitoring Group Members).

The role of Project Direction and Monitoring Group is to ensure the objectives of the EasyBiz
Project as described in the funding application to AusIndustry are achieved. 

The Project Direction and Monitoring Group is the final decision making body for the EasyBiz
Project.

The Project Direction and Monitoring Group is supported by:

A	Technical Development Reference Group - the Group responsible for advising the Project
	Direction and Monitoring Group regarding the EasyBiz System Architecture, standards and
	resolution of technical issues 
	(refer to Appendix D - List of Technical Development Reference Group Members);

B	Industry Reference and Monitoring Group - the Group responsible for advising the 
	Project Direction and Monitoring Group on the requirements of council and small/home
	based business for the EasyBiz system 
	(refer to Appendix E - List of Industry Reference and Monitoring Group Members);

C	City of Whittlesea - the City of Whittlesea is responsible for the day to day 
	administration of the contract for the Project Management, Business Analysis and Change
	Management Contractor (Sinclair Knight Merz) and has contractual responsibility for all
	other EasyBiz contracts with suppliers of services and AusIndustry funding;

D	Sinclair Knight Merz - the appointed contractor responsible for:

	a	the overall projectmanagement (management of four other contractors including 
		a System Analyst, System Developer, Web Services Developer and System Tester), 

	b	Business Analysis (designing the decision tree and forms) and

	c	Change Management (encouraging council to adopt EasyBiz and integrate EasyBiz
		into council's day to day operations)
