OBJECTIVES TO DEWRSB - BUSINESS ENTRY POINT PROGRAM WITH OIC LZIG ROADSHOW

The main objectives that we at the BEP would want to achieve by running the LZIG Roadshows are:

1 Inform local government of the potential of ESD;

2 Raise awareness of the issues that agencies should consider prior to pursuing ESD applications;

3 Develop business modelling tools that agencies could use to assess the viability of ESD initiatives;

4 Promote the acceptance and adoption of open technologies by agencies in developing ESD applications;

5 Improve the BEP's awareness of the ESD activities that agencies are or would like to pursue;

6 Promote collaboration by agencies in ESD initiatives: and

7 Promote existing IP developed through the BEP demonstration program and identify replication opportunities
